Must have app for the web 2.0 addicted

MoodBlast is a small but powerful app I use to organize my various web 2.0 “appearances”. So basically what the tool does is to “blast” your status messages (“mood”) – hence the name of the app – simultaneously to various networks and apps.

For me that is awesome, because I can update my status message for Adium, Skype, Facebook and Twitter with one step, which is really neat. Another great feature allows you to switch your status (like Away, N/A etc.) with “@something“. The something you can configure in the preferences with anything you find catchy. As the screenshot shows MoodBlast also lets you update you status for iChat, Tumblr, Pownce (which I found out, closed down) and Jaiku.

Anyway, if you are connected to more than one network, which is likely, MoodBlast helps you to stay organized and saves a lot of time, which is – and that’s why I posted this here – awesome!
